Branson Missouri is a virtual treasure trove of vacation activities and accommodations, which could explain why it is ranked as the third most popular motorcoach travel destination by the National Motorcoach Network. Furthermore, Branson has remained one of the top four motorcoach destinations in America for the past 17 years. In 2000, Byways, named Branson the motorcoach destination of the decade. So what makes this city so special?

Close Proximity

Located within a day’s drive of over two thirds of the United States’ population, Branson Missouri is an ideal location for motorcoach travel and group get-togethers. The city is also centrally located to all the essential “must see destinations” in the state. Close enough to major Missouri attractions for a visit, but far enough away to avoid the crowds and noise.

Vast Branson Accommodations

The sheer variety of accommodations alone could place Branson at the top of the list. No matter what you are looking for, it can be found here. Are you an avid golfer? If so, why not check in to one of the many luxury condos that overlook Branson’s championship courses.

Other accommodations that are available to motorcoach vacationers include lake view condos and high rise hotels. For those who are looking for a more rustic experience, wooded luxury cabins are also readily available. No matter what you have planned for your next visit, there are accommodations to match.

Branson Entertainment Variety

Whatever your hobbies are, Branson has something fun for everyone. That is what makes it the motorcoach destination of the decade. For example, there are over 12 major golf courses within the city, three major fishing lakes, and one of the largest Bass Pro shops in the world.

Branson also has hundreds of outlet stores, including the enormous Belk’s store located on the renowned Branson Landing. Some of the finest Branson restaurants are located there as well, and who could refuse a romantic dinner eaten outside as you watch the sunset over the lakes’ pristine waters.

Children and families alike enjoy the award winning theme parks. Silver Dollar City brings an air of the Wild West to Branson in a hands-on way that has seldom ever been duplicated. Caves and caverns make for a great day outdoors, while some of the nation’s best live music shows round out the fun filled entertainment that is available in Branson, Mo. Shows such as Noah the Musical, performed at the Sight and Sound Theater, have made the city popular among religious touring organizations as well.

Large Group Arrangements

One of the main reasons why Branson remains one of the top travel destinations, year after year, is because of its ability to accommodate large groups. Several of the resorts in the area have special events and group coordinators that can help plan and arrange your entire visit. Meeting facilities, dining reservations, and activity planning are just a few of the services that are offered, in order to accommodate large groups and meet their unique vacationing needs.

The many qualities that Branson Missouri possesses, along with their ability to accommodate groups of any size, makes them one of the best motorcoach destinations year after year. People of all ages and from all walks of life flock to the city each year to experience its endless entertainment, luxurious accommodations, and close proximity to the rest of the nation. Plan your Branson vacation today, and see why it is the destination of the decade.

Have you just bought yourself a new car? Are you thinking of great accessories to make your car much more fun to drive? If so, then you should think about getting yourself a new car stereo system. You spend several hours of your day driving your car. And most of this time will probably be spent listening to the radio.

Most of the stereos that are provided with any car are decent. But they can be so much better. There are stereo systems that allow you to insert multiple discs, so you don’t have to keep switching them while you are driving. If you have an i-Pod, modern stereos have an auxiliary port which you can plug your i-Pod into, so you can listen to your music while driving.

There are dozens of car stereo brands which you can choose from. And all of them have their own pros and cons. A person who loves listening to heavy metal music with lots of bass will need to buy a different stereo from one who prefers listening to classical music. Plus, most stereos come with their own set of speakers as well.

This is why it is very important for you to test the stereos and the speakers before buying them and having them installed in your car. It would be better if you could bring a few sample CDs or your i-Pod with you to the store, so you can hear how it sounds. If you are buying a car stereo from a brand you already trust, then you it may be more convenient for you to buy it online.

If the shipping cost is waived then stereos bought online will be significantly cheaper than those bought from retail outlets in malls and such. But, in the end the choice is up to you. What matters most is that you get a stereo that can play the music you love in a way that it sounds best. So what are you waiting for? Get yourself the perfect car stereo now!

I recently got the opportunity to spend a lot of time in Branson, Mo. I got to go and see some of the shows. Spend time a the many lakes in the area. It wasn’t as dull as I thought, I thought it was just a place where old people went to vacation. Anyway here is my list of things you must do while in Branson.

1st, Spend a day at Table Rock Lake, Plan a nice picnic or a day of fishing. It’s peaceful and relaxing. The big parks, Like the state park by the damn can get a little crowded but if you don’t mind the crowds it has good access to the lake. It also has a visitor center with the history of the lake. Another big spot is at Indian Point it’s a resort but if go past it, you will find a lot of place to with access to the lake. Now if you want to get away from the crowds just do a little driving. If go out to Kimberling City go down hwy. 13 until you reach hwy. 86 (Take a left). Right before you reach the next big bridge, There are a lot of little campsites with great access to the lake. Plus not many people out there during the day.

2nd, You must go to the the fish hatchery. This a great family activity. The kids can feed the fish, Just get a hand full of fish pellets and toss them into one of the holding areas. The fish go crazy and the kids get a kick out of it. While you there walk down to the spill ways. There right a the base of the damn. It’s the cleanest clear water and if you watch the water you can see the trout swimming around. Be careful, Don’t plan on fishing there unless you have a trout license and the water is really cold, even in the middle of the summer.

3rd, A day of shopping. Drive down to historic downtown Branson where you will find many little shops to browse. The best part is you can park your car and walk to all the store and when your finished with these stores, You’re within walking distance of the Branson Landing. The Branson Landing is an outlet mall which features a Bass Pro Shop. There is all ways some kind of live entertainment going on. Plus there is a great view of lake Taneycomo. If you can’t fill your day in old down town Branson there three other big outlet mall; Tanger Outlet Center, The Shoppes at Branson Meadows and Factory Merchants Branson. Plus two many craft stores to count.

4th, Spend the day at Silver Dollar City. Time will fly. There are so many things to do; rides, shows, crafts and of course Marvel Cave. You spend hours here and not know it. I find it a lot more fun then Six Flags just a lot more to do.

5th, A day of fun with the kids. There are many places to visit. White Water, A water park in Branson has a lot of activities, water slide, water bumper cars, pools and much more… Celebration City, Has lots rides, shows and arcades. There are go carts, bumper cars, water bumper cars and arcades all over Branson.

There many other things to do of course. If you’re a golfer there are some great golf courses there and the surrounding areas. Countless shows to attend. Some of the best fishing you may ever do.

Flies sure have come a long way. Today there are dozens of specialized vices and tools as well as hundreds of supply outlets. And of course you can buy ready made fresh or saltwater fishing flies from anywhere in the world, with the click of a button. But one thing remains the same; the best flies are hand tied by people who tie from experience. And that’s what this article is about. We’re going to take a look at some of the best flies, for any fishing conditions and locals, hand tied by the true masters.

Let’s do this by region. If you are planning a fishing getaway this will give you time to get the best flies you need for where you want to go. And of course, it never hurts to try a new fly at you favorite local spot. You never know…

Starting in the northeast I bring your attention to Joe “Flycatcher” O’Clair. If the name sounds familiar, you might have heard it mentioned by fly tying legend and editor of Fly Tier Magazine, David Klausmeyer. David featured Joe as one of the “top 13 US fly tiers” in his fly tying hardcover classic; “Striped Bass Flies: Patterns of the Pros.”

A saltwater fly tying innovator, Joe has designed some great flies for fishing conditions common to many coastal anglers. Located on Cape Cod, he caters to the need for distance casting by beach bound anglers and saltwater flies that are visible, but natural looking, in the cloudy Atlantic waters of New England. Joe’s “Cone Head Deceivers” make the distance and sink rapidly. They do the trick nicely, working especially well on Striped Bass and Bluefish. http://www.FlycatcherFlies.com

If you’re looking for saltwater flies that work like magic from the coast of Nova Scotia down to the outer banks of Carolina, FlycatcherFlies.com should be your first stop.

Now we head down south to St. Petersburg, Florida and fly tying great Danny Sauvageau, of DansCustomFlies.com.

We visit with Dan for one of his latest creations, “Dan’s Weedless Shrimp” http://members.ij.net/danscustomflys/WeedlessShrimpPage.html. This little beauty is virtually snag proof and great for Seatrout, Snook, Bonefish, and just about anything else that will eat shrimp.

Dan has been designing and selling his award winning flies for over a decade. Next time you find yourself in his neck of the woods, a visit to his online store is a must.

Now let’s head over to the Pacific Northwest and http://www.adiposflytying.com. If you’re looking for great Salmon, Steelhead or Trout flies, look no further. The pros at Adipos got their experience fishing the best that British Columbia, Alaska, Washington, and Oregon have to offer.

These are rugged flies for hearty fish that are as at home in the Washington as they are west coastal Canada.

We finish our online pursuit of great saltwater fishing flies in Southern California with a visit to Gary Bulla of http://www.garybulla.com. Gary is one of the foremost experts in designing flies that work especially well for kayakers and surf casters going after Yellowfin Tuna and Roosterfish.

These are just a few of the great saltwater fly tiers out there. Most of them and countless others sell out of local bait and tackle shops as well so look around the next time you take a last minute fishing trip. There’s bound to be a local legend fly tier that has just the right fly for what you’re after.

Keep those lines tight!

Proving that fishing for fun can pay off; Scott Jason founded http://www.SaltwaterFlies.org and spends his free time testing the best master tied saltwater fishing flies the world has to offer.

Do you consider yourself a great fisherman? There are people for which fishing is a way of life. In the past I worked with a guy who just loved fishing more than anything else in life. He dreamed in fact of his very own shop in which he would sell baits and tackles. Nevertheless this dream was never going to become reality in his opinion due to the huge competition. Some of his feared enemies were Wal-Mart. He always emphasized the fact that it was extremely hard for him to keep up with the big boys. I asked myself a question: “Why would anyone pay more for fishing equipment when they can just head to Wal-Mart and get it for pennies?” Thats the well knows Wal-Mart policy. You can buy everything from China and thus put our own workers out of jobs. So Wal was not such a good guy after all. Leaving all this behind I would like to stress the fact that one aspect of enjoying your annual fishing adventure is quality fishing equipment. Everything centers around a professional fishing equipment in order to fully enjoy your fishing trip. You want a pole that puts the old Huck Finn rod to shame. You should get ready for your next fishing expedition! Are you?

There would be another very important question namely where you would shop for quality fishing equipment. I am absolutely positive that some people would head directly to one of those outdoor outlets like R.E.I. or Pro Bass. However you must not misunderstand what I want to say. It was not my intention to diminish the product quality of these stores. I only want to stress the fact that these stores are not the only ones on the market that offer great products. Have you ever give it a thought to check in the World-Wide-Web when searching high and low for quality fishing equipment? If you say no, then you definitely should also consider this option. On the internet you can find everything you are looking for. If only this happened as I was a kid. We used to go fishing with dad all the time. We lived right in the proximity of the Mississippi, so it was rather convenient. In all honesty I had nothing to do with fishing. I used to hate the mosquitoes and also the heat. I consider myself more a winter person. That must be the reason for which I used to like ice fishing so much more. In the case of ice fishing there were no nasty mosquito bites, no blistering hot sun and scorched skin. So this was the way to get it done.

It is very important that I know what you are searching for this very minute. It is quality and reliable fishing equipment that you are after. Only a rookie fisher would actually think its all the same thing. Its in fact never all the same. Everybody must get what one paid for in life. Is a BMW the same as a Mercedes? I dont really think so! So, my advice would be to kick back and relax on your sofa with your laptop next to you. Just use the well known Google search engine and simply start browsing for the best fishing equipment in the whole wide world.

All in all you must know that you have absolutely everything at your very fingers … so you are in charge. Isnt it absolutely great to have a technology like this?
